Business and Marketing

Business and Marketing have been working on awards, and spreading the word of the Slingshot Premiere to a wider audience. They are also starting work on the Chairman's Award, the most prestigious award a team can receive in FIRST Robotics. Their Business Plan is almost completed and the Saber Robotics website is being thoroughly updated.

Programming

Programming has three main projects: Lift, Drive, and Pneumatics. The members on the lift team coded some functions to control the lift system and change the direction using a trigger on the controller. The drive system is mostly done, and will be finished once they test out the vision tracking as well as the gyroscope sensor. Pneumatics is completely done, and has been tested thoroughly.

Design

The design team has been working on drawings that design the parts for the forklift system on our robot. They are also editing it, and will have it done so it can go into the shop to be made. The winch system is practically done, and by the end of Saturday, all the kinks will be worked out of the system.

Build

The build team is getting work done on the chassis. They have finished all the parts as well as all of the winch parts. Quarter mounts are being cut and made, and they will finish creating the parts and assembling the chassis by Saturday.

Electrical

The electrical team has completed their CAD design of electrical work to be done on the robot. They are also starting to take inventory of all the wires and parts they have, so they can fix problems during competition, if they were to arise. (Hopefully not!)
