Business and Marketing

The business group has been busy with numerous award submissions as they collect material from all groups of FIRST Team 2506 to construct these submissions. Some awards they have been working on include the Chairman's, Woodie Flowers and Digital Media. The PR unit of BAM has been collecting video and photos for the newsletter and for  the Chairman's award. They are also working on integrating the media and branding of FIRST Team 2506 to stay consistent on how we are recognized and seen.

Design

Week Two has the design group narrowing down on ideas to be incorporated on this year's robot. They have started to construct designs of the chassis using Auto-CAD and have finished the design matrix leading to finalization on all components of the robot. Two components they have revealed are how the robot will maneuver and the intake and expulsion unit. In conclusion they are finishing up the robot designs of the parts they have decided on, so Mechanical may construct them.

Programming

Programmers continue their practice by going through various different robot systems. They have also finished up the code for the practice chassis being used for driver trials. Rookies are intensely working with new sets of code to get comfortable with bug fixes. Finally rookies are getting to see their code being worked out through the practice chassis.

Mechanical

Mechanical veterans are stressing the importance of safety and accuracy in the workshop. Safety is of top priority in the workshop and they express this point in team meetings so all other groups are informed of safety. Furthermore the rookies have become so experienced that they have started teaching other groups' members how to mill. In conclusion the mechanical group is preparing for the design group to finish up the robot blueprints so they may continue processing aluminum parts for the robot.

Electrical

The young electrical group has finished the wiring on the practice robot and have given the robot to the programmers for driver coding. After finalizing the electrical work on the practice robot, the electrical group started research on electrical components needed for the actual robot. Along with ordering electrical components they have started to plan out how the electrical components will be placed in the robot this year.
